What counts as a call?

Each invocation of pipe.prompt() or pipe.stream() counts as one call. Boosted responses (resolved without an LLM) still count toward your daily limit but cost $0 in LLM spend.

Do cached responses count?

Yes, cached responses count toward your daily call limit. However, they cost $0 in LLM spend since no provider call is made.

Can I set budget caps?

Yes. Use budgetCapUsd for a hard limit (requests rejected when exceeded) and budgetWarnUsd for a soft warning threshold. Available on all tiers.

How do Swarm calls count?

A Swarm fan-out to N models counts as N calls toward your daily limit, since each model receives a separate request.

Can I upgrade mid-month?

Yes. Upgrades are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
